Alvaro Acevedo is the only attorney in the United States to be a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute while holding all three licenses to represent before the IRS simultaneously: Attorney at Law, Certified Public Accountant, and Enrolled Agent. Al has represented and advised over 500 clients in both civil and criminal tax matters. He is a Board Certified member of the Florida Bar in Tax Law.

Al is also the founder of International CPAs of Miami (ICM), the sister firm to Brickell Law Group. He is the president of San Sebastian’s Children Foundation, a not-for-profit entity focused on providing legal and financial assistance to the parents of children with life-threatening diseases.
